In hypnotherapy I utilize a variety of techniques for self-directed neuroplasticity — the capacity of the brain to change itself by creating new habits of thought and mind. My emphasis is on teaching people self-hypnosis techniques they can use on their own, primarily for stress reduction and anxiety relief. Addressing the stress and anxiety more effectively, people are often then able to modify compulsive behaviors with food and alcohol, find better sleep, cope more effectively with physical pain, have improved performance, and discover their own creative solutions to problems.
